Are you looking to grow your manufacturing business? The Manufacturing Support Programme (MSP) is designed to help manufacturers like you expand, create jobs, and boost competitiveness through financial support.

Why Apply for the MSP?

This incentive offers a reimbursable grant of up to 20% for manufacturing projects, with a maximum grant of R10 million over two years. If your business is 51% owned and managed by women, youth, or persons with disabilities, you may qualify for a 30% grant.

Funding Can Be Used For:

✅ Capital Expenditure & Raw Materials
✅ Competitiveness Improvements – Enhancing processes, product quality, skills development, technology transfer, energy efficiency, and more (consultant fees covered up to R1 million)
✅ Green Technology & Resource Efficiency Improvements
✅ Production Capacity Expansion & New Projects

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must:
✔ Be a registered business in South Africa
✔ Be B-BBEE Level 4 or better and tax-compliant
✔ Commit to job creation and local sourcing (at least 50% of inputs from SA producers, 10% from Black-owned businesses)
✔ Start production within 180 days of approval

Your application requires a business plan and financial forecast. To maximise your growth potential, this grant can also be combined with funding from the IDC, NEF, or SEDFA.
